Where are you?

Hi,

I’m back with a post after I think a month or so? Wow that’s a while isn’t it? I’m currently enrolled on a part time university course which involves completing placements at organisations to get an experience of the way they work. Now me being me and wanting to get my hours over and done with went with not one but two placements yay -_- So i’m busy in there every monday to friday and weekends I just about get time to relax with these deadlines looming over me. So I thought I’d just write a quick post (quick meaning really quick as my laptop battery is about to go any second now and the charger just seems too far away for my liking :P). I am going to try and get a schedule sorted within the upcoming weeks so I can review some new stuff I have been trying out one of them being Elizabeth Arden Intensive Lip Repair Balm as I have been suffering from horrible chapped lips for the last week or so :(. I decided to take the plunge and buy this as I had bought Baby Lips by Maybelline and they did nothing to help my lips instead making them feel even worse. I will be back I have not gone anyway and I will continue to spam you with my posts until you all get fed up of me :P.

I just wanted to give you a quick update on my life and the reason for lack of posts. I hope everyone has a good weekend and even better Easter break!

Wish List Addition

I’m in LOVE with this bag, you don’t understand how much my hands are itching to check this out and how I am resisting temptation at this minute! The only thing that is stopping me right now is the price tag of £40, now I don’t know about you lot but for me that is a lot to spend on a bag I could buy two high end lipsticks with that much or a high end foundation and still have some money left over! AAah! DECISIONS DECISIONS! I’ll sleep on it and see how I feel in the morning! 😛

2. Craziest thing you’ve done? Not much, although quite a few crazy things have happened to me like the man wanting to hugging me with the excuse of ‘blessing’ me haha

4. Best thing you have accomplished? I haven’t accomplished much  so right at this moment it is my degree 😛

Ten Things About Me Tag

So the lovely Katie over at dailymakeupblog tagged me in the ten things about me tag. I have to say I love it and get excited when I see someone has tagged me in a tag as I find them so much fun to do. I even made this little banner. So the idea of this tag is for the tagged person to write ten things about themselves that other bloggers didn’t know, it sounds so simple doesn’t it? that’s because it is! After the tagged person has filled their tag in then they tag other bloggers to complete the tag and you let them know by commenting on their profiles.

Now on to the tag, ten things you did not know about me:

1. I am 21 years old, going to turn 22 next month and then I can sing Taylor Swifts 22 all I want 😛
2. I have just completed my BSC in Business and Management Studies last year and am going on to do further studies 🙂
3. I have a hobby apart from collecting make up believe it or not 😛 and its baking! I love to bake in my spare time and I make some pretty good chocolate cupcakes even if I do say so myself 😉
4. I buy stuff that I just do not need at times just because I like the idea of having it in case I do need it later on. I mean come on you never know when you’ll need it!
5. I like maths, yes you read that right I liked it in GCSE and it’s actually fun once you get into it 🙂
6. For someone who likes colour in their life I do own quite a lot of black clothes but my lipstick collection makes up for it I guess 😛
7. I’m an online shopper I like to read reviews on things before I buy them so I love reading blog posts.
8. I am a social network person, I’ve had them all twitter, facebook, instagram, snapchat all of them. I just like to keep up to date with things, I don’t post a lot.
9. I have one brother and one sister.
10. I love Starbucks Hazelnut hot chocolate and as I am typing this I am suddenly craving one but I have to wait till Wednesday as that’s my Starbucks day haha!

Wish List Addition – MAC Lipsticks

I am a lipstick girl. I would rather buy a lipstick than any other make up item because I just love the different variations of colour they come in! I feel like a coloured lipstick no matter how neutral or bold it is can make a difference to the whole make up look. Now I own quite a few lipsticks in my collection and I’m quite surprised that I don’t even own one MAC lipstick. I guess their lipsticks just haven’t been that appealing. So I decided to go onto their website to see what lipsticks they had and found out that I was missing out! I’m currently on the lookout for a nude lipstick but not a total nude I want one with a bit of colour and stands out more than other nude lipsticks and the two that I want no actually scratch that need are Retro and Taupe.

MAC Retro 

I mean look at it! It’s a dark nude with a bit of colour! I love it and my need of owning it is increasing by the second! This is perfect to wear everyday and to pair with smoky eyes and such. It’s such a lovely colour and would probably suit every skin tone.

MAC Taupe 

This one is just a little bit lighter than Retro so is good for all those that don’t want too much colour on their lips. It’s perfect to pair with a smoky eye as well and wear on an everyday basis.

MAC Ruby Woo 

Now I know this one is not a nude, but hey just look at the colour it’s oozing out! I love the colour and the hint of darkness it has to it. I own quite a few dark lipsticks and would love to add this to my collection. Heck I’d even wear this out on a normal day.

Lip Saver

I bought this the other day because my lips were in need of some balm because they were getting so dry! I normally use my Palmers Cocoa butter but that has ‘disappeared’ somewhere and I had no luck finding it so my friend suggested this and boy am I glad she did! I’ve already got this in the tube version but I prefer this over that one any day! That one is more of a gloss version and this one is a balm. I apply this every night and and my lips have gone soft! I’ve only been wearing this for a few days as well!

So for all you people out there that are suffering from dry winter lips and are on the hunt for something that’s cheap and does the job then look no further! I think this was £1.29 or something along those lines, it was definitely below £2 though! Totally worth it 🙂
