Would You Rather Tag-Beauty Edition

Hi guys today I’m back with a beauty tag! I was looking through wordpress reader and found this tag and I’ve been wanting to do a tag for a while so thought why not do this?

The rules for this tag are:

• Answer the questions
• Thank the blogger and link back to her (Since no one tagged me I’ll tag the blog I found this at HERE)

Now onto the tag!

1.Would you rather go out with messy hair and nice make-up or Nice hair and no make-up?

Define messy since I go out with no make-up most of the times and only concealer on I don’t really mind :P. But my answer for this is nice make-up and messy hair.

2.Would you rather shave your eyebrows or have your eyelashes fall out?

Aaah I would never shave my eyebrows. That would look SOO weird so I’d rather have my eyelashes fall out and get some fake natural looking eyelashes haha.

3.Would you rather be forced to shop at only MAC or Sephora/Debenhams for the rest of your life?

Since I live in the UK I’ve added Debenhams in there along with Sephora :). Since I don’t own that much Mac stuff I’ll go for Debenhams as there’s more variety in the brands and I could pick and choose which brand I want to go for ;).

4.Would you rather wear lip gloss/lip liner look or 80’s perm?

I would go for lip gloss/lip liner look all the way! I love my lip products!

5.Would you rather leave the house with an obvious foundation line or overdone blush?

Urm obvious foundation line because that would just be in one place the blush would be obvious on both cheeks!

6.Would you rather wear MC Hammer pants or biker shorts in public?

MC Hammer Pants all the way!! I mean why not? haha.

7. Would you rather have a bad orange-y spray tan or really weird tan lines that can’t be covered?

This is hard hmm I’d go for orange-y spray tan and just make sure I wear a long dress with long arms and leggings covering everything up!

8. Would you rather have a bad haircut or bad hair color?

Bad hair colour I can always dye over it again with bad haircut I’d have to wait till it grows back out!

9. Would you rather have YouTube or Twitter taken away forever?

Aah this is a bit hard because I like YouTube to watch videos and everything and Twitter for keeping up with celebs haha urm I’d say Twitter.

10. Would your rather give up on using makeup brushes or mascara?

Mascara I don’t really use mascara that much anyway so it wouldn’t be much of a difference to me anyway 😛

A quick scrub of this on the lips before bed is great for exfoliating lips. Plus the taste isn’t bad either haha

I’m Back!

I’m back and free from all exams and assignments! I’ve been free for one day now 😛 and I thought I haven’t wrote on the blog in a LONG time so here I am :). Recently I’ve been baking more than actually buying new make up. I’ve been a fan of baking for a while now and even made a two tier birthday cake a while ago (with the help of my cousin of course 🙂 ). So far I’ve baked brownies, chocolate cupcakes, classic victoria sponge, chocolate cookies, chocolate cakes and cake pops! Yes I’m sure you can see the main theme in the baking CHOCOLATE. I’ve realised that even if you haven’t baked at all or in a while if you bake something chocolaty then you will deffo not go wrong as the end result will always be chocolaty! I’m going to be making chocolate brownie cupcakes next week and see how they turn out but another thing of my list is chocolate cookie cupcakes and lemon cupcakes!

Okay enough of baking haha although I am thinking of having more posts up about baking as well as that’s what I’m into. Anyway on the make up side i’m loving the sunny weather as the summery lipsticks are coming out! I’ve heard bourjois has got this nice matte gloss stick it’s like a lipstick but it comes in a gloss tube. I need to make a visit to boots to buy some more make up as I haven’t been in ages!

Things i’m loving atm:

• Maybelline Pink Lipstick the 24 hour one- it literally stays on for so long! unlike Kate Moss Rimmel lipstick which comes of after a while, I wish it didn’t though because I love the dark red colour 😦
• Hervana Blusher by Benefit- did a blog post on this earlier when I bought it and i still love it! It gives your cheeks a lovely natural pink tint!
• Collection Concealer- I’ve started using this concealer more now and instead of using my Mac concealer I use this.

The Liebster Award

So I logged into my emails and what do I see? I am nominated for a Liebster Award from the beautiful TheBelleofBeauty! 😀 I’m four days late with this but better late than never I say :P. Anyway the reason for this award is to promote blogs that have less than 200 followers. It also gives a chance for my followers to get to know more about me and I am able to promote blogs I follow. I only know about this award because of Belle so the explanation comes from her blog not me!

1. Why did you start blogging ? I used to see other people’s make up blogs and then one day thought hey I could do that and here we are :P. Although I am yet to start blogging more frequently.

2. Do you find it hard to get inspiration for your blog posts ? Urm yes I do sometimes but mainly I am lazy and don’t have time to write blog posts because of my university work. Hopefully I will be more active after May as then I will be done with uni.

3. if you only had one make up product for the rest of your life what would it be ? Mac Concealer! I need concealer the most and concealer can also be used as foundation so I’d make double use out of it lol.

4. in your opinion what is the best beauty product out there ? This is a hard one. I love Benefit’s blushers I adore their cute little packaging and I think they are worth the price but then again I like Stila’s blushers too.

5, Favourite city in the world ? No favourite but I like Dubai, Morroco, Mykonos- Greece :D..Yet to visit any of these though haha.

6. style icon ? No particular style icon anyone with skater style dresses and smoky eyes does it for me!

7. any fears / phobias ? Heights.

8. Guilty pleasure ? Kardashians although I dont feel guilty at all watching them!

9. favourite drug store brand ? Revlon considering I got most of their stuff.

10. favourite food ? Chicken Panini with chips!

11. scariest movie ever seen ? hmm went halfway through the purge and found it boring, I don’t watch scary movies 😛

Hey guys,

I’m planning on doing loads of posts about beauty in general. I have a ton of products I want to talk about and you can listen (if you want :p). This is the first time I’ve had a blog so bare with me here on how I carry it out. Been reading quite a few blogs and was always thinking of making a blog and one day it just happened (it just had to happen in my last year at university though haha) Yeah so anyway keep an eye out for reviews and posts first need to sort my laptop problems out (the problem being I don’t actually own one haha)
