Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Nourishing Lip Balm

Today I am going to be talking about this lovely little pot of joy right here. I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted (10 weeks and 3 days but who’s counting?) I’ve just been busy with things. So on to this cream, I say cream but its more of a gel formula. I bought this on a day where my lips were so dry they were sore and hurting. After buying various lip balms that promised my dry lips some moisture I went and googled some suggestions and this came up. Since that day I have not regretted buying this one bit. This literally made my lips go back to not only normal but filled with moisture and made them soft. I even got a comment on it from my cousin asking why my lips were soft ;). This is £20 from Boots, yes it is expensive for a lip balm but honestly it literally lasts forever I bought it months back and I still barely have gone through it. I use it every night before bed so that my lips are moisturised for my lipstick in the morning :P.

Anyway hope you enjoyed this quick post and I have helped you with your lip worries!

Where are you?

I’m back with a post after I think a month or so? Wow that’s a while isn’t it? I’m currently enrolled on a part time university course which involves completing placements at organisations to get an experience of the way they work. Now me being me and wanting to get my hours over and done with went with not one but two placements yay -_- So i’m busy in there every monday to friday and weekends I just about get time to relax with these deadlines looming over me. So I thought I’d just write a quick post (quick meaning really quick as my laptop battery is about to go any second now and the charger just seems too far away for my liking :P). I am going to try and get a schedule sorted within the upcoming weeks so I can review some new stuff I have been trying out one of them being Elizabeth Arden Intensive Lip Repair Balm as I have been suffering from horrible chapped lips for the last week or so :(. I decided to take the plunge and buy this as I had bought Baby Lips by Maybelline and they did nothing to help my lips instead making them feel even worse. I will be back I have not gone anyway and I will continue to spam you with my posts until you all get fed up of me :P.

I just wanted to give you a quick update on my life and the reason for lack of posts. I hope everyone has a good weekend and even better Easter break!

Guerlain Insolence

I’m back with a perfume post today. I normally write about make up so thought I’d bring something new to the blog and since I’ve been loving this smell since teenage years I thought I’d let you all know about this beauty! I was introduced to this fragrance by my cousin and after a couple of years I stumbled across it again in The Fragrance Shop and bought it for just £22.00 now that is a bargain! ;).

“Fruity Floral Surprising, audacious, feminine A sensual philter, Insolence Eau de Parfum takes you straight to the heart of the perfume. This fruity floral fragrance blends carnal notes of violet with the smooth luxury of iris to form a sulfurous and voluptuous duo.

Above is what Guerlain have said about this fragrance and it just about sums it up right. Seriously all you need is one spray of this on your clothes and it will literally last all day and night, I’m not even joking. The smell is quite strong and fruity? I think if I’m describing it right. The smell is not for everyone I love the smell whereas my auntie hates it haha she finds it too much for her but hey it’s difference of opinion :P.  I love the fact that less is more with this as you do not want to go overboard with spraying this as then you will be literally drowned in the smell and cause yourself and others to have a headache and that is not needed!

I’m curious how many of you lot have tried this fragrance and if you have what do you think of it?

What other fragrances do you lot love? Let me know in the comments below!

Concealer Suggestions?

Hey guys,

I bet you’ve all been wondering where I’ve been 😛 hmm? I guess not haha. I’ve just been busy with life I guess, I’ve started a part-time course at University and then just been going out and about. Now enough of that I have come back not with a review or a haul but a question for you instead. I assume you have guessed by the title of this post what my question is but I’m going to ask you anyway 😛 What concealers do you lot use for your under eye circles that’s if you have any and if you don’t then you are one of those rare humans that have been blessed with very good genes that I envy! I use a collection concealer at the moment but I want to branch out of that and I have not got very dark eye circles but they are visible and they are brown so I welcome any suggestions of concealers that you lot have. I hear salmon/orange/peach tone concealers are good for brown circles but there are so many out there I just don’t know where to start!

So you beauty lot pop your suggestions in the comments as they are very much appreciated!

Wish List Addition

I’m in LOVE with this bag, you don’t understand how much my hands are itching to check this out and how I am resisting temptation at this minute! The only thing that is stopping me right now is the price tag of £40, now I don’t know about you lot but for me that is a lot to spend on a bag I could buy two high end lipsticks with that much or a high end foundation and still have some money left over! AAah! DECISIONS DECISIONS! I’ll sleep on it and see how I feel in the morning! 😛
